Rules Of The Drunken Mic
The line-up list will always go out by/before Tuesday. If you cannot make it, please text me before the mic. PLEASE TEXT, DO NOT EMAIL TO ASSURE THAT I GET YOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE. I, have 24/7 access to my phone, not to the email. Those who do not show up without giving notice will get strikes.
1st week not showing up without notice: Strike 1 - Warning.
2nd week not showing up without notice: Strike 2 - Will not be able to sign up for the following week's mic.
3rd week not showing up without notice: Strike 3 - Will not be able to sign up for the mic for a month.
For those who have made this a habit, I have turned down comics because of lack of room on the list only to discover that you are a no-show. I apologize for the sudden strictness, but I must be fair to those who actually want to come and will come.
Also, please show up by 9:00pm! As much as we wished that we could trust EVERYONE on their word that they will come, we must assume you are a no-show if not there by start-time. Your spot will be given to a stand-by/walk-in who was there before 9pm.
